Price is certainly important, just keep in mind that the overall value that you get for your dollar is most important.

Q: What kind of woods do you use?

A: We use the wood of your choice. Our material usually comes from the Northwest and the Northeastern part of the country. This area provides better quality woods because of the climate conditions. The wood is stronger and has more consistent characteristics. We usually get our lumber in 15/16” and plane it to 13/16”, this allows imperfections to be removed and obtain a consistent thickness. The most common woods used today are Cherry, Hickory, Maple, Alder, and Oak. Some of the more exotic woods such as Walnut, Teak, and Honduran Mahogany are generally used for specialty pieces.

Q: I only need a small vanity. Is this something you are willing to do?

A: Absolutely! Because we are a custom shop we are not driven by mass production. Our overhead costs give us the freedom to accommodate any size job. We design and build Fireplace Mantles, Bookcases, Entertainment Centers, Beds and the list goes on.
